January 1, 2019 - Polar Bear Challenge Events at Eagle Nest Lake State Park on New Year's Day:
- Registration and Refreshments begin at 10 AM in the Eagle Nest Lake State Park Visitor Center, 42 Marina Way, Eagle Nest NM. Phone: 575-377-1594

January 26, 2019 - Ice Fishing Tournament on Eagle Nest Lake. Registration at 6 AM at Eagle Nest Lake State Park Visitor Center, 42 Marina Way, Eagle Nest NM. Phone 575-377-1594. Submit winning fish to Tournament Judges by 2 PM to be eligible for prizes.
May 11, 2019 - Kid's Fishing Derby at Gravel Pit Lakes at Maverick Campground in Cimarron Canyon State Park. Registration starts at 10 AM - Fish until 1 PM.
February 21, 2019 at 5:30 PM - Annual Friends Meeting and Potluck at Eagle Nest Lake State Park Visitor Center.
June 1, 2019 - National Trails Day hike. Location and time to be determined
July 2019 date to be determined - Summer Membership potluck
August 3, 2019 - River Roundup on the Cimarron River.
